WHAT A (almost) YEAR!!!

So.. It has been almost a year since I have found the time to blog BUT since I'm sick at home with H1N1.. WHY NOT! Here is a quick update of what I have been doing..


I spent my summer in Washington, DC, knocking doors for a living, selling security system for a company called Silverline. This is me and some of the guys i worked with after a tour of the capital.


4th of July on Rohoboth Beach in Delaware.. Still rockin our sweet Polo's!


My great friends, Alena, Jamie, and Melissa came out at the end of the summer to visit and tour DC with me before heading back to the beehive state :)


We also went to Ocean City.. It was the best day of the whole vacation!

Now that I am back I have been just working and playing way too much. This last week I got to go on a cruise to Cabo with the company I worked for in the summer. It was a blast and I couldn't have asked for a better time!

LONG TIME NO BLOG...

So I might possibly be the worst blogger ever.. seriously! BUT on December 16th was my 24th B-day so of course I celebrated that day with friends and then again on the 20th at Keys on Main. It was a great time with my wonderful friends!! :)

WEDDING EXTRAGANZA :)

Last weekend I had the honor of being in a wedding in Dallas, Texas for one of my best friends from high school, JJ Moreland, now Scott. I flew in on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday was a tea party at the downtown historical Ashton hotel. Friday was the rehersal and dinner. And Saturday was the big day at a vineyard in Grapevine. All in all it was the funnest, fanciest wedding I have ever been in. CONGRATS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE :)

THE THINGS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED..

Today was Reginal Conference for my ward and the many wards around me. It was truly special though because my mom was in town!! Since my ward is so close to the Conference Center, we were told to meet there. We weren't sure what time it started though so we went down at 9am just to be safe. Well it didn't start til 10am so we got great seats (maybe 15 rows back)!!! At 10 til 10 everyone stood up and in walked the Prophet. A spirit came over the room like I have never felt before. The meeting was great and President Monson was even the closing speaker. As the meeting was over and we were waiting to leaving my mom looked and me and began to cry. She talked about how lucky we were to be able to see the Prophet and how much people from here take this for granted. In my home stake of Amarillo, Texas we have a Gereral Authority come to stake conference maybe once every 3 or 4 years. I had never actually seen a prophet in real life til I was 20 years old. So count your many blessings and don't take them for granted. :)

UPSTATE NEW YORK!!!

Before school started my mom and I got to go to upstate New York and see the sights. We went to Palmyra, hiking, and my favorite NIAGARA FALLS! Everything up there is so lush and green. It is SO beautiful! Thanks so much to my mom for a great trip! :)

FAMILY, FUN, AND 50TH'S!

In September my grandparents will be celebrating their 50's wedding anniversary. So to celebrate all of their kids (which is my mom) and their families all met up at my grandparents cabin in Bear Lake for a long weekend. I got to see my CUTE baby cousins and my family! It was great to see everyone and to celebrate this AMAZING acomplishment. :)

SUMMER LOVIN...

Summer is in full effect for me! I have been making new friends and spending more time with the old. All I want to do is PLAY PLAY PLAY every second of everyday when I'm not working. It has even effected my laundry!! I swear I'm wearing my last pair of clean underwear right now.. (you know the one's that you don't like very much). I'm going to have to buy more tonight or wear them inside out tomorrow. I know that is alot of personal info so if I decide to do the later I'll keep it to myself. HAHA! But with all my playing I have had alot of fun. These are a few pics from this weekend. The Roots concert, fireworks for the 24th at Weber, and me and my baby Isaac hanging out.

YOU CAN TAKE THE GIRL OUT OF TEXAS...

As many of you know I was raised in Amarillo, Texas and grew up on country music. So as the song goes "you can take the girl out of Texas but you can't take the Texas out of the girl". This is very true! Last Monday I was able to go the the Joe Nicholes, Collin Raye, and Josh Gracin concert in Provo with a group of friends. It was REALLY hot but we had a blast!!!

HELP!!!!!

So when I first made my blog I got my backround from Pyraz.com.. BUT I have recently found a new and cuter one but I can't get rid of that stupid orange link at the top of my page. I have been trying for about an hour now and I give up... DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF IT?????? It's driving me crazy...
